The need for adopting as strict as possible Anti-Ragging measures can never be over-emphasized. The Hon'ble Supreme Court of India has established strict regulations for implementing these measures to prevent instances of ragging within or outside the campus.

Any form of ragging, whether carried out by individuals or groups, represents a severe breach of discipline. The institution conducts regular awareness programs and orientation sessions for both students and faculty members to emphasize the zero-tolerance policy towards ragging.

Ragging typically involves situations where senior students exert their influence or status over newly enrolled students or those deemed junior by their peers. This encompasses various individual and collective behaviors or practices, such as:

  • Physical assault, threats, or any form of violence are strictly prohibited.
  • Ridiculing, demeaning, or undermining the dignity of fellow students is not tolerated.
  • Verbal abuse, aggression, or any indecent behavior is unacceptable.
  • All new students must sign a declaration affirming their commitment to abide by these regulations.
  • Violators of these rules may face severe consequences, including expulsion from the institution and potential legal action.
