Established in 2012 with engineering as a flagship program, Chandigarh Engineering College, Jhanjeri (CEC-J) has come a long way in its journey of delivering quality higher education at affordable fees. CEC-J, whose roots date back to 2001 and has evolved from CEC Group, is today one of North India’s leading higher education providers that offer world-class education and endless placement opportunities to the students of all corners of the country.

Currently, CEC-J offers 40+ advanced, practice-based and industry-par undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the fields of Engineering, Management, Commerce, Law*, Computer Application, Journalism, Pharmacy*, Sciences, and more.

These alliances give our students an opportunity to broaden their horizons. The college embraces seasoned faculty who are alumni of IITs and IIMs, a student-centric and research-intensive environment and, most importantly, an education model that blends the theory and hands-on exposure effectively.

Also since inception, the college has been taking a keen interest in various social welfare activities. Pursuant to the same, the college is running a full-fledged NSS Unit affiliated to I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University. This dedicated unit performs various voluntary actions that promote the culture of social responsibility among students, as well as, contribute to the welfare of society.

To impart selflessness, confidence, honesty, discipline, hard work and leadership qualities among students, the college has embodied an NCC unit comprising of Army, Navy and Air Wing.
