To fulfill the thirst of the corporate by updating the knowledge of students on recent trends and technologies, the mechanical engineering department of Chandigarh Engineering College has formed the Mechmortals Club. Technical sessions are held from the beginning of every academic year. Students are prepared to cope up with the highly competitive environment, by strengthening there technical skills in various fields of engineering and technology.

Sarvaswa-Literary club is introduced to building up the confidence, grooming the talents and to develop analytical & creative thinking of students. It offers them opportunities to appreciate different types of literature to increase their knowledge about writers/literary figures and literary classics and showcase their own work. Literary club is also committed to tap the effective communication talent among the students which results in creating their interest in reading, writing and enjoy taking part in debates and quiz and other literary activities.

The significance of this activity club is preparing students for real life challenges & to foster their imagination skills& talents for reaching out to the other institutes through various activities and widen their spectrum. Club provides a comforting platform for students to flourish their talent, skills, building confidence and promote quality and artistic renewal.

The aim of this club is to establish a coding culture in the department, reaching every student passionate about coding. The motto of the club is to Create, Build, Innovate. This club really stretches the ability of students which require them to use what they have learned during there study period. Various projects are designed which encourages and require high level of participation from the students.

The core philosophy of this club is to bridge the gap between industry and academia. This is achieved by organizing events regularly throughout the academic year and by adding more activities in its portfolio of events. The club contributes to and benefit from networking with leaders and professionals in the industry and foster active participation in various events.

Finance Club is formulated with the objective to increase interest in finance among management students by relating the experience of students’ professors and alumni. Students are provided with a comprehensive understanding of the finance industry, including its related jobs and certificates. The club fosters the environment of development in the field of finance among students.

As a club, it brings together some of the brightest minds, interested in exploring the ever changing dynamics of marketing. The club aims at keeping members with the latest in marketing while integrating the vast experience of its members across industries and functions such as research, advertising, digital marketing and branding communication. The club believes that a sound business education is an ideal mix of world class curriculum.

The Spectrum fashion club of FT hosts different competitions and events celebrating multiple festivals. The Shears & Rubans (fashion show) is one of the most popular events hosted by the club. Along with celebratory events, the club also hosts numerous technical events like Fashionista.

The club provides students interested in nutrition opportunities to learn more about a career in dietetics, volunteer in the community, and educate the public about better health and nutrition. The purpose is to provide a framework for meaningful student involvement and to stimulate interest in the profession of dietetics.

CEC-J’s Opera House Club, which is a theatre club, is a perfect platform for students who have a love for theatre, as well as, for those who want to explore and discover new interests in the field of theatre. This club helps in building confidence, communication & language skills and provides an avenue for self-expression.

CEC-J Sizzlers is a dance club that not only nurtures the talent of competitive dancers but also people who wish to dance just to keep fit.

CEC-Jedia Media Club focuses on nurturing the skill-set required to become successful media professionals of tomorrow. Be a passion for writing, graphic design, or digital media, you will definitely find your niche within our media club.
